These cupcakes requires very few available ingredients and are quiet easy to make and these are fluffy, moist and tender. You can make frosting of your choice, today i did not add frosting to it. This is good kids snack box recipe. I usually make whole wheat egg less apple cinnamon cake and that is also too good and delicious. But recently i came across this cupcake recipe i tried it and it is super hit among the family.
Keep all the ingredients at room temperature before you start. I use both brown and white granulated sugars but you can skip brown sugar and add only the regular sugar. But brown sugar adds nice toffee flavor to the cake and brown sugar with apple and cinnamon makes good combination.
You can use oil in this recipe instead of butter. sift the flours twice or thrice to get fluffy cakes. You can add caramel frosting to it.
Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 11/3 cups All purpose flour / Maida
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 cup / 1 stick Butter
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Granulated white sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 medium Apple
Instructions
- Line the mould with cup cake liners and pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree celsius
- Firstly Sift All purpose flour/Maida, cinnamon, baking powder and salt together
- Then in a large mixing bowl take 1/2 cup butter(room temperature) , brown sugar and white sugar and whisk it well until it turns pale and fluffy.
- Now add 2 eggs (one at a time) whisk it well
- Add vanilla essence and mix it
- Then add the dry ingredients( flour mixture) and 1/2 cup milk and mix it till combined
- Add the chopped apples and fold it with the batter
- add the batter to the lined cupcake tray and bake it in the preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
- Take it out once the inserted knife or toothpick comes out clean
- Top it with frosting or serve it as it is
