As these are eggless brownies we use curd/ yogurt in the recipe. These best eggless chocolate brownie are not chewy as they are soft and cake like structure.
Melt the butter and chocolate in double boiler method or microwave it for 40-50 seconds in intervals else it may get burnt
Use good quality cocoa powder and chocolate. As the whole flavor and taste depend on the cocoa powder you are using.
If using salted butter skip salt in the recipe.
You can also top it with walnut, pecans or almonds

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup All purpose flour / maida
- 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Butter (salted or unsalted ) room temperature
- 1 cup Chocolate semi sweet dark chocolate
- 3/4 cup Yogurt / curd or Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp Sugar granulated
- 1-2 tbsp Powder sugar for topping optional
Instructions
- Firstly sieve the all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt (if using salted butter skip salt)and set it aside
- In a bowl add chopped chocolate and butter and microwave it for about 30-50 seconds in intervals or use double boiler method to melt it.
- Chocolate and butter has melted perfectly
- Now add yogurt, vanilla essence and mix well
- To this add sugar and whisk it well for 1-2 minutes
- Now add the prepared wet mixture to flour cocoa mixture
- Mix it well do not over mix it, now pour the batter to prepared tin and bake it at 180 degree for 30-35 minutes
- Allow the brownie to cool completely before slicing. You can also keep the brownie in refrigerator for 1 hour before slicing
- Enjoy the brownie like that or warm the brownies and add a scoop of ice cream
