Kodubale/kodbale is best to munch and kids love it as they wear it in their fingers and enjoy that.

I still remember during my childhood my aunt use to buy these kodubale, from bangalore. Whenever she comes for vacation to my hometown ooty and we used enjoy those times. Now i can prepare this at home anytime i want it to have.

I found this kodubale recipe in youtube. And there are many recipes with different ingredients and measurements so i adapted one recipe and made few changes. You can increase the spice level according to your taste. You can also add pepper corns while blending the coconut.

Few tips to make perfect kodubale recipe

While making Kodubale in larger quantity divide the flour mixture(after adding coconut and oil) in to 2 portions and add water and knead the 1st batch and make kodubale and once it is done knead the 2nd batch because after kneading, kodubale dough should not be rested for too long as it may absorb more oil

Kodubale dough should be smooth and soft like chappati dough so add water accordingly

Fry the kodubale in Low to medium flame so that kodubale get cooked completely and do not put so many kodubale to oil at once fry them in small batches.

Follow these correct measurements to get the perfect kodubale

Shape some kodubale and keep it ready before frying them oil
