Aloo curry, tapioca stir fry recipe
Aloo curry recipe

I get good good kappa in the place i live so i make it regularly. Usually the shredded coconut is added with this recipe kappa/maravalli kizhangu. But I did not add coconut in this Tapioca stir fry.

In kerala there are many other dishes can be prepared with tapioca /kappa. This stir fry is one such recipe. Sometimes they use to serve kappa with any meat. You can also boil it and simply have it with nattu sarkarai (country sugar or jaggery powder).

Peel the skin of the tapioca and clean it before boiling it. I use to pressure cook them, and then it is tempered with spices and masala.

Today I used homemade curry masala powder in this recipe. But you can use store bought ones or you can use chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric and garam masala.
