Banana chocolate chip cookies

These cookies are soft and light, it has a cake like texture. Banana cookies are perfect for kids snacks box or for evening snacks with milk, kids will love it. I usually make banana cake or wheat panniyaram ( sweet ) using the over ripened bananas. But i saw these cookies recipe in internet and wanted to try from long time. So i made the Banana chocolate chip cookies last week and we all liked it. The original calls for a egg but i made it eggless and I used corn starch in this cookies.- Grease the baking baking or line it with baking sheet and set aside, pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree celsius- Sieve the All purpose flour/ maida, corn starch, Baking soda, and salt together- In a large mixing bowl take butter and sugar and beat it well with hand mixer or hand whisk- Add Mashed banana and mix it- Now add vanilla essence and mix it- Then add the dry ingredients and fold it until combined- Add chocolate chips and mix it- Take small ball size and press it slightly and arrange it in a baking tray and bake it the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 180 degree celsius or till the sides turn golden brown each oven is different so bake it accordingly.- Now cookies are baked completely cool them and store it in air tight container

- 1 cup All purpose flour / Maida
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour / Corn starch
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter(room temperature)
- 1/2 cup +1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2-3 small bananas Banana mashed
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Grease the baking baking or line it with baking sheet and set aside, pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree celsius

Notes
If using salted butter add a pinch of salt or skip it
You can also add combination of brown sugar and regular white sugar
