Khoya cake recipe| Mawa cake recipe| Eggless Khoya Cake  with detailed step by step photos Khoya| Mawa cake is found commonly in indian bakeries mainly in Mumbai, today am sharing egg-less khoya or mawa cake recipein detail.
- In large bowl take ½ cup butter   and 1 cup powdered sugar and mix well using hand whisk
- Mix till it becomes fluffy
- Now add 1&1/2 cup Maida/all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda and mix well
- Now add ½ cup curd and mix gently
- Further add ¾ cup milk and start mixing it
- Now add 1 cup grated khoya and add 1/4 tsp cardamom powder then combine it flour and mix gently
- Pour the batter into greased cake tin and top it with nuts
- Bake it in preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180 degree Celsius and take it out once the inserted knife or skewer comes out clean

  • 1&1/2 cup Maida/All-purposeflour
  • 1 cup Khoya/Mawa (grated)
  • 1 cup Powder Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts(optional)

Instructions

  • Further add ¾ cup milk and start mixing it
  • Now add 1 cup grated khoya and add 1/4 tsp cardamom powder then combine it with flour and mix gently
  • Pour the batter into greased cake tin and top it with nuts
  • Bake it in preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180 degree Celsius and take it out once the inserted knife or skewer comes out clean

Notes

Cardamom flavour goes well with this cake but you can replace vanilla
Each oven differs so check after 30 minutes
