Corn pulao recipe  |  Corn Rice | How to prepare corn pulao recipe  with detailed step by step photos. Corn pulao is tasty and prepared with corn kernals, rice and coconut milk. It is ideal for lunch box recipes and it is easy to prepare with few ingredients. The corn pulao can be served, for day to day meals and also for special occasions. Today I will share a simple yet tasty method for preparing corn pulao.
- Firstly wash and soak the basmati rice for 20 minutes
- Heat 2 tsp ghee in Pressure cooker and add Cinnamon, Cloves,Bay leaves, Star aniseed and Jeera and saute till aromatic. Now add slices onions and saute them
- Add green chilli and Ginger Garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes
- Further add Corn and peas and saute for 2 minutes
- Now add the washed and soaked basmati rice and add garam masala and mix well with corn and peas
- Now add 1&1/2 cup coconut milk and ½ cup water and add salt
- Now cover the lid and cook for 2 whistle and open once the pressure release
- Finally serve it with it any spicy curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 no. Green chilli
  • 3/4 cup Corn
  • 1/2 cup Peas
  • 1.5 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1/2 Water
  • 1 no. Cinnamon
  • 1 no. Cloves
  • 1 no. Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp Jeera/cumi
  • 1 no Star aniseed
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper corn

Instructions

Notes

I used frozen sweet corn But you can use corn from cob
Soak rice at least for 15 minutes
You can use other vegetables like capsicum, carrot and beans 
Instead of ghee oil can be used 
you can skip coconut milk and cook in water 
You skip adding star aniseed and pepper corns if you want it
