Red chutney |chutney recipe for mysore masala dosa

- Heat a kadai with some oil and add Urad dal and chana dal (kadalai paruppu) and saute
- Then add onion, ginger, garlic and red chilli and saute till the
- Once it cool downs add it to blending jar and add small tamarind, salt and little water and blend it
- Blend it to slightly coarse not too coarse
- Serve this with idli dosa or with masala dosa

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Urad dal
  • 1 tbsp Chana dal
  • 2 medium Onion
  • small piece Ginger
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic
  • 4-5 Red chili byadgi chili or kashmiri chili
  • small Tamarind
  • salt
  • 2 tsp Oil

Notes

Byadgi chili or kashmiri chili gives nice red colour to the chutney  but you can use other chili also 
adjust the spice level according to your taste
