Peanut tomato chutney recipe / chutney recipes/ how to make peanut onion tomato chutney with detailed step by step pictures. Peanut chutney is popular side dish recipes recipe from south Indian cuisine. This peanut tomato chutney recipe is another version of groundnut chutney which i had shared earlier. It's made of peanuts, onion, garlic and tomatoes. And this is very easy to make chutney.
- In a pan heat oil and add peanut/groundnut and saute it for 3-4 minutes
- And add chopped onion and saute for couple of minutes
- Then add garlic, curry leaves, green chili and red chili and saute it
- Now add tomatoes and cook till it turns soft and switch of the flame
- Once the mixture cools down add it to the blending jar with some water and salt
- Blend it to smooth or to the required consistency
- In tadka pan add some oil and add mustard seeds once it crackles add curry leaves and add it the chutney
Serve the chutney with idli or dosa

  • 1 cup Peanut/groundnut/Verkadalai
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic
  • few Curry leaves
  • 1 Green chili
  • 2 Red chili
  • 1 large Tomato
  • Water
  • Salt
