Peanut tomato chutney recipe / chutney recipes/ how to make peanut onion tomato chutney with detailed step by step pictures. Peanut chutney is popular side dish recipes recipe from south Indian cuisine. This peanut tomato chutney recipe is a another version of groundnut chutney , which i had shared earlier. It’s made of peanuts, onion, garlic and tomatoes. And this is very easy to make chutney.

At South indian house holds we prepare chutneys on daily basis to serve it with idli, dosa and utthappam. There are many chutney varieties made of vegetables and dals even from veggies peels. A simple coconut chutney has many versions in it.

I have to make chutneys daily for breakfast, sometime for lunch and as dip for evening snacks also. therefore i have to make different types of chutneys daily. And i keep on trying new chutney varieties regularly.

Today i made this chutney with both onion and tomato but you can add skip onion in this. I used groundnut with skin but you can remove it if you don’t want it.

This chutney is made without coconut, as onion and tomato gives the thickness.
