Tomato kurma makes best side dish with idli, dosa, chappati, parotta and even it goes well with pulav, kuska rice.To make Ground coconut paste- In a blender jar add coconut, fried gram, fennel /sombu and green chili with little water and blend it to smooth paste and set it asideTo make Tomato Kurma- Heat a pan with some oil and add mustard seeds once it crackles add cinnamon abd bay leaf and saute it quickly- Add Chopped onions and saute it till it turns golden- Then add Ginger Garlic paste and curry leaves and saute it for 1-2 minutes- Now add in the chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn mushy- Now add the curry masala Powder and cook well till the oil oozes out- Add required water and mix well- Further add the ground coconut paste and cover and cook well for 3-4 minutes on medium to high flame- Finally add chopped coriander leaves and switch of the flame and serve it hot with Chappati , Idli and dosa
