Wheat Bread, Bread Recipe, Bakery Style Bread

Wheat bread/Bread with detailed step by step photo.Serving homemade bread to our family is something happy.  I love to bake breads at home. I love the smell of freshly baked bread.
To activate the yeast:
- In a bowl take 1 cup warm water , add 1 tbsp sugar mix well and  add 2 tsp yeast wait for 10 minutes for the yeast to get activated
- Once the bubbles formed it means the yeast is activated
To Prepare Wheat Bread:
- In a large bowl add 1 cup Wheat flour,1 cup  Maida and 1 tsp Salt   mix well
- Make a hole in the center add   yeast mixture, 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp sugar mix well  add more water  if required
- Knead the dough well, change the dough from bowl to counter top and knead the dough for 10 minutes
- Once the dough becomes soft cover it and keep for proofing it should double in size it  takes 2 hrs (depends on climate)
- Once its gets doubled take the dough to counter top and knead it once
- Roll it using rolling pin and fold it to a log (bread shape)
- Place the log in a greased loaf pan
- Cover the loaf pan and keep it for 2nd proofing it takes ½ hour. Once it has raised again slightly brush some milk on top (in between pre-heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes)
- Place the loaf pan in pre-heated oven and bake it for 20 minutes at 180 degree Celsius or the top becomes golden brown colour
- Apply some butter on bread when its hot  as it helps to keep the bread soft

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Whole wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Maida/All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Dry Active Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Milk for brushing
  • 1 tbsp Butter for brushing

Notes

You can add milk instead of water
Water should be warm neither too hot nor cold
Before adding the yeast prove it
I added 2 tbsp sugar while kneading, you skip that sugar
