Restaurant style fish fry recipe / Sheer fish fry / vanjaram fry recipes with detailed instructions and step by step photos. In our family we all like seafood especially fish and prawns, I had shared few prawn recipes earlier but this is my first fish recipe in the blog. We like fish fry than the fish curry, This sheer fish fry is very popular recipe and you can find this in almost all the indian restaurant menu. Though fish fry seems to be easy recipe but we are not able to get that crispiness while frying it. so here in this post i had shared many tips and tricks to make that restaurant style fish fry.- Wash and clean the fish and set it aside- In a blender jar take all the ingredients mentioned under to make ground paste- Blend it to smooth paste- Now evenly coat the masala paste on the fish and marinate it- Rest it for 30 minutes at room temperature- Heat oil in pan and add 1 spring curry leaves to the oil ( this enhance the taste of the fish and gives good flavor ). Add the marinated fish to the oil and fry them on medium to high flame- Cover and cook it for 4-5- Flip it on the other side and fry it until it is cooked completely and turns crispy- Serve it hot with rasam rice or with sambar rice or just like appetizer

Notes
Adding rice flour will make the fish fry more crispy You can also add Corn flour instead of rice flour
