5 Ingredient cheese biscuits / Masala cheese biscuits

Cheese Biscuits / How to make cheese biscuits / Cheddar cheese biscuits / Cheese cookies recipes with detailed instruction and step by step photos. This is easy and quick biscuits made with cheddar cheese, black pepper and chili flakes its idle for kids snacks or for any picnics. The original recipe is made without sugar but we like with little sugar in it but its absolutely optional and you can skip it.
- Firstly shred the cheddar cheese and set it aside
-In a large mixing bowl take all purpose flour / maida add salt, powdered sugar, chili powder and pepper powder and mix it well
- Add the chopped cold butter
- And rub it well with the flour using your finger tips and it should resemble like a bread crumbs
- Now add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix it well with the flour
- Now add slowly add buttermilk
- And combine it into a dough do not knead it. if butter starts to melting keep the dough covered in fridge and rest for minutes and then proceed it
- Pre heat the oven at 180 degree celsius for 10 minutes and grease the baking tray or line it with baking sheet
- Now gently roll the dough using a rolling pin into a square
- Now cut it into 2 inch square
- Arrange the biscuits into baking tray and place it in a pre heated oven for 20 -25 minutes
- Or till the top turns golden color
- Take it out and serve it warm or once it cool downs add it to a air tight container and store in room temperature

  • 1.5 cup Cheddar cheese or Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup Chilled Milk or buttermilk

Notes

You can also use whole wheat flour but the texture and the taste may differ 
Skip the sugar completely if you dont want it
