To make red velvet crinkle cookie-Preheat the oven to180 degree and line a baking tray with parchment paper-Take all the required ingredients-In a bowl sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder, set it aside-In a bowl cream the butter and sugar till they are fluffy-Add in egg and beat it-Add in vanilla and mix it then add food color (liquid or gel)-Add dry ingredients to wet and gently mix it (do not knead just combine-Cover it with cling wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes-To make red velvet cookies-Use cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop the cookies-Fill one bowl with granulated sugar and one with powdered sugar-Roll the balls first in granulated sugar-Then in powdered sugar-Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes-The cookies will come soft from the oven but harden up as they cool
