It made of rava sugar and ghee this is mainly during festivals. My mom makes delicious rava ladoo and I learnt from her. At home we like rava laddu and make it quite regularly. Usually for friday pooja as neivedhyam or whenever have craving for that. There are many ways to make rava/sooji ladoo and this is typical south Indian style Rava ladoo.

This is very easy ladoo recipe, and it can be made quickly with few basic ingredients. Today i made Rava laddo using milk but you can skip milk and completely make it with ghee but it requires more ghee.
You can also add coconut to this laddu if you are adding just roast with rava. you can freshly shredded coconut or desicated coconut. today i did not add coconut.
Store these ladoos in air tight container and it stays good for 2 days at room temperature and 4-5 days at refrigerator. If you make ladoos only with ghee then ladoos stays good for long time
Blend the rava in to slightly coarse and not too coarse

Ingredients
- 1 cup Rava/semolina/sooji
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- 3-4 tbsp Milk
- Cashews & raisins
- 2 Cardamom
Instructions
- Firstly in a kadai dry roast the rava/sooji in low medium flame till it turns aromatic it takes 5 minutes
- Transfer the rava to plate and let it cool completely
- Now add roasted rava, sugar and cardamom to blending jar and blend it
- The rava consistency should be slightly coarse not too coarse
- Now in a small kadai heat 4 tbsp ghee and add cashews and raisin (i did not add raisins ) and fry them
- Now add the fried cashwes with hot ghee to rava sugar mixture
- Now mix it slowly if your adding shredded coconut add at this stage
- Now add warm milk little by little and mix well
- Now shape it into ladoo
- Store the ladoos in air tight container
